Seasons for Growth
A peer support education program supporting children & young people through change, loss & grief.
If you have a child aged from 6-18 years old who has experienced the loss of a special person through death, parental separation or divorce, migration, imprisonment or fostering, or other major change here is a chance for you to support him or her with the help of the Seasons for Growth program.
Small groups, facilitated by Companions, meet once a week, for an hour, for 9 weeks. Groups are available on a regular basis. Adult groups are also available.
We also run a 4 week program for children living with someone experiencing a serious or life-threatening illness.
We are always looking for volunteer group facilitators and offer regular training. The next training date is set for the 19th & 20th November 2016 and a further one in March 2017.
