The Newlands Community House Food Bank is based at the Newlands Community Centre. We provide emergency support to residents of the Newlands, Woodridge, Paparangi, and Grenada Village communities once a month, up to twelve times a year. 

 

The Food Bank currently operates on reduced hours - Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.

 

HOW TO REQUEST A FOOD PARCEL

If you need help with food,  a ‘Request for Food Assistance’ form available at

Clients must present suitable ID and proof of residence in the Northern suburbs such as a power bill to complete our registration form. Failure to present suitable ID and proof of residence will delay receipt of food parcels.

 

Clients meet with our co-ordinators at the Community Centre at 4.30pm to complete registration forms and collect parcels as we do not deliver. A later collection time can be arranged for those whose work hours make it difficult to meet at 4.30pm.

If you would like to donate food items, please contact us to arrange delivery.

If you would like to contribute financially, please use our bank details listed below. We are a registered charity (CC21969) so donations over $5 are eligible for the 33% tax rebate. Please contact us if you require a receipt.
